Terminology

Define: message matrix, coding matrix, coded message matrix, formula for the area of a triangle using a determinant

Text Notes

We will work a variety of applications in class. Be sure that you are familliar with problems that include traffic flow, digital imaging, matrix multiplication and interpreting the results, coding/decoding messages using matrix inversion, and using a determinant to find area of triangle.
