Overview

Today we will apply our knowledge of trigonometric functions and ratios to solving right triangle problems. To "solve" a right triangle means to find all the missing sides and angles.

Objectives

By the end of this topic you should know and be prepared to be tested on:

• 2.3.1 Know to what significant digit answers must be given based on the givens in a triangle problem
• 2.3.2 Solve right triangle problems including finding sides, finding angles, solving when more than one occurence of a variable
