OK? Let's get started on the course content!

• Check for new Class Announcements daily!
Check your Clark Student Email regularly!

• WAMAP: Complete Orientation Assignments #1-5. The first week has five very specific short assignments with strict due dates. Details are provided in the neon green blocks in WAMAP.

Note: There is NO class participation requirement (CPRs) in week 1. Assignments #1-5 replace CPRs in week 1. CPRs will start in week 2 at which time you will be expected to participate on the weekly discussion board at least 3 days a week. Want more info about CPRs now? See Class Calendar Unit 2A.

(Opt.) FAQs - What are the "Lesson Notes"?

• MyMathLab: Study e-text section 1.6.
Note that chapter P and sections 1.1-1.5 are review from algebra. Skim as needed.

FAQs - What should I do in MyMathLab? includes information about the e-Textbook, Study Plan, and Sample Tests.

FAQs - What exactly is the homework in this class?

• Download or Print: Algebra "Cheat Sheet" you may find useful as a reference.

• Information about Graphing & Graphers: You will need an electronic grapher (free online grapher, graphing software, mobile graphing app, or handheld graphing calculator) for this class.

You are expected to already know how to electronically graph a function (including exponential and logarithmic) and find it's x-intercept point(s) as well as graph two functions and find their intersection point.

TI-84 users will find Prof. Milner's TI-84 Calculator Tutorial Videos useful.
